Family Planning Specialists provides both first and second trimester abortions up to 21 weeks and 6 days gestation. In the first trimester, patients have three anesthesia options: conscious sedation, general or local anesthesia. All second trimester patients receive general anesthesia. Family Planning Specialists also offers the Abortion Pill up to 9 weeks gestation as an alternative to surgery.
